Blue Tax Week

Graphic with a peach-colored circle on a dark background, featuring navy text that reads 'Blue Tax'. Below, in smaller font, it says 'That's just the price of being a man.'

The majority of products on the market that we think of as gender-neutral are actually designed for men by default. The pink tax refers to the extra amount women are charged for products or services that are marketed to them with pink packaging, smaller sizes and flowery design. And most of the time, everyone is oblivious—especially the guys, who are still earning more, and spending less. If men paid more for products made just for them, they’d understand the absurdity of a gender-based tax.
But hey, that’s just the price of being a man.
